The Solution focussed paradigm
Ben Furman, international wellknown developer of solution focussing methods for individuals and organizations, is a Psychiatrist and Psychoterapeut from Finland, co-director of Helsinki Brief Therapy Institute. For the international community he is most known for his Lectures all over the world and for his books translated to more than 10 languages. Among the titles can be mentioned: "It's never too late to get a happy childhood", "Solution Talk", "Kids skills", "Success together - handbook of reteaming coaching".
Besides his work among the general population to change focus from problems to solutions he has also developed specific models for different areas like "The Twin star" (teaching solution focussed Leadership and Communication) "Reteaming" (Coaching - Cooperation), "Kids Skills" (for children). He is also Finland's "Dr Phil" with his own TV-program (since 1999) where he takes up human relations, conflicts etc.
The workshop will introduce the basic ideas behing the "Solution focussed paradigm" and give examples from the various applications of the paradigm.
